FACILITIES

 

Each bedroom includes space to study, with a desk and chair, wardrobe/storage space and a wash basin.

We have a mixture of baths, showers and toilets on each bedroom floor.

​

We have designated male and female bedrooms on certain floors.

​

Free WiFi is available throughout the building. Free use of washing and drying machines.

​

There are two large and comfortable lounges to relax in, a small library for studying, and a guest dining room that can be booked for private use.

​

There are three communal kitchens with their own dining areas, which are open at all times.

​

We have a table tennis and pool room, which are open until 11pm at night.  

​

We have a designated smoking area at the front of the house and a large garden at the rear of the property, with plenty of space to relax in.

If you require use of our car park, please ask.

Please be aware that due to the age of Hodgkin House, we do not have a lift. We do have accommodation available on the ground floor. If you have a special request, please ask us.

 

Guests are able to stay in our small guest room (pre booking required) and other guests may be able to stay with residents, depending on the size of the room.

​

There are guest charges, which differ from accommodation charges.

​

Our aim is to provide a home from home for all students who chose to come and stay here. Over the years we have built up a strong and enviable reputation for being a caring, supportive and happy environment.

​

We encourage students to meet and mix together either through planned events, or informal get-togethers in the house.

​

NB: due to the nature of our accommodation, we are unable to provide accommodation for families and children.
