May has brought us the next new step in getting back to 'normal'. The Friends of Hodgkin House have been great support with this, we've had a walk in the Bluebells in Leigh Woods, and a new historic and fun fact local Clifton Walk.
Yesterday, we'd hoped for a garden afternoon tea, with the Friends, but sadly, we had to hold this indoors due to the torrential rain, adhering to the Rule of 6.
Great fun was had by all and a substantial amount of cake was consumed!
With the promise of better weather coming, we have a picnic to look forward to on the Clifton Downs and a Secret Garden event. It's also great to see students starting to get out and about and explore our amazing local areas, such as the Mendips and Cheddar Gorge, Cornwall, Dorset and Durdle Dor. With another May bank holiday and June just around the corner and national restrictions being lifted even further, here's to a great Summer at Hodgkin House!
