The Friends of Hodgkin House was established in 1965 and is an association of people who believe in the value of personal friendships between individuals of different nationalities.
The Friends are all volunteers who give up their time to provide the extra events that go to make Hodgkin House so special. We are blessed to have The Right Reverend Vivienne Faull, Bishop of Bristol as The Patron of The Friends of Hodgkin House. She was able to join us for a welcome tea in January 2020.
The Friends offer hospitality to the residents by arranging social events throughout the year such as a Welcome Meal, occasional Sunday teas, a popular historical walk, a theatre and cinema visit, a skittle and curry evening, seasonal events and a Spring and Summer outing. These events may require a small contribution from students towards the cost.
The events can be booked at reception.
